Father's Day

Father's Day is difficult for me, since losing my beloved Dad on September 2, 2002, to lymphoma. In spite of the emotional upheaval of the day, and even the whole weekend, I try to honor him by remembering all the special and happy moments we all had together before He went home to the Lord Whom Dad served his entire life.

I wrote a poem shortly after his death entitled "Do Giants Still Exist?" The poem was just published last fall (2008) in a hard-cover anthology entitled "Collected Whispers."… Continue
